Become a Master Gardener Volunteer
What is a Master Gardener Volunteer?
Master Gardener Volunteers are community members who share a passion for gardening and use their knowledge to educate others. Through Cornell Cooperative Extension, these trained volunteers provide research-based horticultural information and help promote environmentally sound gardening practices throughout Rockland County.
Training & Learning Experience
Volunteers receive comprehensive training in horticulture, gaining the skills and confidence to answer questions, teach workshops, and support community education efforts. The program blends science-based knowledge with hands-on learning, empowering participants to become trusted gardening resources in their communities.
